1. Andrew Bogut

Andrew Bogut is a retired professional basketball player who was born on November 28, 1984, in Melbourne, Australia. He grew up in Hughesdale and attended Hughesdale Primary School. He was selected as the number one overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and went on to play for several NBA teams, including the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, and Cleveland Cavaliers. Bogut also represented Australia in international competitions, earning a bronze medal at the 2019 FIBA World Cup. He retired from professional basketball in 2020.
